On Saturday, October 13, the Georgia National Fair hosted their annual Peachstate Livestock Judging Contest at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, Ga. where several teams from Florida heading to national contests in just a short while competed representing the Sunshine State with more outstanding finishes.
On Saturday, October 6, the 2018 KILE Junior and Collegiate Livestock Judging Contest was held during the Keystone International Livestock Exposition at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pa.
On Monday, October 1, the 97th National 4-H Dairy Judging Contest was held during the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis., hosted by the contest committee.
From August 1-5, 4-H members from 13 states came together for the annual Southern Regional 4-H Horse Championships, an event combines both educational contests and a horse show, to determine the best of the best of all things equine in the Southeast.

On November 16, the National 4-H Poultry and Egg Conference was held during the North American International Livestock Exposition as the national event for poultry contests. Florida 4-H was represented in three of the contests by state winners from the poultry judging and tailgating contests.
On November 14, 2017, the North American International Livestock Exposition hosted the 2017 National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. Florida 4-H was represented this year by your 2017 state champion livestock judging team from Pasco County 4-H.
On November 4, 2017, the Eastern National 4-H Horse Round-Up was held during the North American International Livestock Exposition at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. as the national event for horse contests. Florida 4-H was represented in five of the contests, by your state champions and high individuals.
